Limecrete floors
These breathable floor systems are great for traditional solid-walled properties as they still allow some moisture to escape without pushing it up the walls. We lay them as part of a larger project rather than as a job on their own.
How a limecrete floor is built
The sub-base is made up from glass that has been recycled into a lightweight aggregate with incredible thermal qualities. The screed is a strong lime mix that allows for movement and lets moisture escape.

Warm
Foamed glass aggregate is an amazing insulator that can be built up to any thickness. Underfloor heating works amazingly paired with a limecrete floor.
Flexible
Allowing for movement, these floor systems can flex and move with the building while still remaining tough and usable.
